The Westbrook Clinic – RGV On-site Pharmacy is the most convenient way for individuals who qualify for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) to access their medications. Our ADAP Pharmacy provides HIV-related prescription drugs to low-income individuals with HIV/AIDS who have limited or no prescription drug coverage.  Once you are a client, you can call, text or email and to have your prescriptions filled.

Our Pharmacist Technician who has an HIV medication background is available for one-on-one sessions during your medical appointments to provide medication counseling, education on management of side effects and more.

Prescription Refills

Prescription refills are now available by phone, email, or text message (SMS).

PHONE: For prescription refills call 956-507-4861 and leave a message with your name, date of birth and the name of your prescription if available.

EMAIL: To request a refill via email write to pharmacy@valleyaids.org and provide your name, date of birth and the name of your prescription if available.

TEXT MESSAGE (SMS): To request a refill via text message (SMS), please send a text message to 956-244-0016 and provide your name and date of birth.

PRESCRIPTIONS FOR OUTSIDE PHARMACIES: If you need a medication called into an outside pharmacy, call our Nursing Department at 956-507-4815 and provide your name, date of birth and the name of your prescription if available.

Rafael Kirkpatrick joined the Westbrook Clinic in 2003 as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CphT) in a Class D Pharmacy Specializing in HIV medications. Under the supervision of David M. Castro registered Pharmacist (R.Ph.), he manages the pharmacy including ordering medications for clients through the Texas HIV Medication Program (THMP), filling prescriptions, counting pills, restocking shelves with medications, and processing orders. Through his training and career experience Rafael has become expertly familiar with HIV medications and their interactions.
